The Dare

To commemorate the significant business achievements of EllisDon founder and philanthropist, Don Smith.

Lord Cultural Resources was chosen to envision an exhibition exploring Don Smith's legacy; Double Dare worked closely with the team to create a design concept that connected to his legacy.

The Outcome

EllisDon is a global leader in the construction industry with a corporate culture of innovation and integrity. To celebrate these qualities, Double Dare’s exhibit concept joined building materials in a manner that highlighted beauty and precision. On this aesthetic foundation, the company’s core values were communicated through heart warming stories, expressive portraits, and artifacts of significance.

Operationally, the exhibit would have to function as a backdrop for corporate events and boardroom functions. Double Dare conducted a spatial analysis and identified strategies to accommodate multiple uses or to convert the space in a flexible and efficient manner. These strategies included moveable showcases, exhibits combined into seating and other furnishings, plus displays that transformed into event furniture.

Want an exhibit that builds relationships? We’d love to design it for you.
