The Dare

To honour and shed light on Canada’s military legacy with a touring exhibition about Vimy Ridge.

When a Canadian military history society teamed up with a major sponsor from the bus lines industry to develop a traveling exhibit for Vimy’s centennial, Double Dare designed a concept to help persuade other funders to join the ranks.

The Outcome

To assist with the business plan for the exhibit, Double Dare hit the ground running with initial branding and interpretive consultation. To ensure that the creative was on target, we worked with the sponsors fund raising experts to develop the working title, a series of logos, plus possible graphic treatments for the exterior of the bus. We also consulted on the logistics of building the exhibition in the shell of a passenger bus.

Working with the society, we reviewed the existing collection to leverage their assets and suggest a compelling series of interactive and hands-on elements to enhance the experience, both inside the bus and deployed outdoor environments. The final deliverable was a conceptual sketch of the touring exhibit, giving the society the ammunition they required to communicate their vision to additional sponsors.

Want an exhibit that tells your story? We'd love to design it for you.
